Based on the latest forecast, and with the information that the State and the City’s travel ban will be lifted at 5:00 tonight, we can confirm that the university will resume operations at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Although the travel ban has lifted, please use extreme caution if you travel tonight. Please note that the City of New Haven continues to plow streets and will maintain the citywide parking ban until further notice.

Staff members who are concerned about getting to and from campus tomorrow, and who are not required to be at work, should consult their supervisor to see if they can use a day of paid time off. Otherwise, please allow extra time for travel tomorrow morning.

Shuttle services will resume at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, although, depending on road conditions, not all routes may run smoothly. Please check the website http://yale.transloc.com/ for updates. Yale Health will resume operations at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Yale Medicine staff members will return to work at 10:00 a.m. and clinics will reopen for patients at noon. All other university services will resume at 10:00 a.m.

We are grateful to the many staff members who worked tirelessly all day today and the many who will be working throughout the night and tomorrow to make sure the campus is ready, including making sure that sidewalks are cleared, patients cared for, labs functioning smoothly, and the campus kept safe. We greatly appreciate the critical services you provide and your commitment and dedication to the university.

For any facility or snow removal issues call the Facilities Operations Customer Service Center at (203) 432.6888. Other updates will be posted at http://emergency.yale.edu.
